Web Site

This web site has had several names and I'm not certain I have yet arrive at the name with which I am most satisfied. Currently, I am calling it "Ad Hoc", but after looking up the definition of the phrase I'm not satisifed using the latin phrase for the web site title. Prior to this working title, I have used "Under Construction" - but visitors arriving at the site assumed it was not functional. "The Attic" was the third working title I have used but it never really captured my interest. While, changing the site title hurts the site's search results, I'm not interested in connecting with the world. I'm just trying different things as I think of them.

Earlier incarnations of this web site were built using WordPress and then MoveableType. I'm not much in to religious wars. I like both of those tools (and my current choice as well). I have an ongoing effort to port the content from my previous site to this site's format. It is time consuming and probably of no value to anyone other than myself.

I like being able to hold some content privately. I like being able to set up work flow. I like being able to aggregate and create new content types. The first of these requirements drove me to my current choice. You can achieve all of these objectives with other tool sets. I happened to arrive at this choice.

The content on this site is mine but you should all feel free to use it and abuse it for non-commercial purposes as long as you give me credit for the original content. I can't imagine anything on this site being of any value to anyone else - but if you are a navel gazer or a voyeur and this stuff looks like it might be the beginning of the next great piece of art - remember the little guy who served as your muse.
